Booking Terms & Conditions
SCROLL DOWN AND READ THE TERMS OF SERVICE PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH A BOOKING. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE ALL ADULTS WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS BOOKING HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.Terms of Service
REO Rafting Ltd. (referred to in this document as "REO", "us", "we" or "our") will be pleased to provide you, and members of your party with accommodations, activities, and related services, on the terms and conditions below.These terms of service (in their entirety) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and REO Rafting Ltd. (o/a REO Rafting Glamping & Yoga Resort). By making a reservation with REO, you are agreeing, on behalf of yourself and all other individuals that wish to participate in your booking, to be bound by these Terms of Service (these "Terms"). You further agree you are acting as an agent for such other individuals, and these Terms will apply to them as a condition of them participating in your reservation.
Finalize Your Reservation
Please enter your credit card details to secure your reservation. A nonrefundable booking fee of $0.01 will apply to request this reservation. You will receive a confirmation email with a link for each participant, or their parent/legal guardian for a participant under age 19, in your reservation to read and agree to our digital Release Agreement (the “Waiver”) and our Photo/Video Release. Once all participants in your group have signed their Waivers and Photo/Video Release, a nonrefundable deposit of 15% will be collected automatically, and your reservation will be complete. This email will also contain access to these Terms of Service. It is your responsibility to forward the email to all the individuals, or parent legal guardians in your booking.
Terms Binding on All Guests
The guest who makes the booking is responsible for sharing these Terms, including the waiver requirement and the terms of the Waiver, with every member of their group. Each guest is individually responsible for reading these Terms in their entirety. If you are joining a reservation made by another guest, please read these terms carefully before choosing to participate. By participating in a reservation with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.Waiver Requirement
All guests must review and agree to REO Raftings’ Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement (the “Waiver”) and its Photo/Video Release as a condition of participating in any trip with us. - By signing the Waiver, you waive your legal rights to sue or claim compensation following an accident. Read the waiver carefully.
- Each guest, or their parent legal guardian for guests under 19, participating in the reservation is required to complete an electronic version of the Waiver and Photo/Video Release prior to reservation being confirmed, unless otherwise agreed to REO.
- If you are booking for others, it is your responsibility to ensure you inform them of this waiver requirement and the terms of the Waiver and Photo/Video Release.
- This waiver requirement applies to all participants, regardless of when they are added to the reservation. If you wish to change or add a participant in your party after the deposit has been paid and the reservation confirmed, the proposed new participant (or their parent/legal guardian for a participant under 19) will be required to complete the Wavier and the Photo/Video Release prior to being permitted to join the reservation, this is a condition of such individual participating in the reservation. You agree that if the proposed new participant does not complete the Waiver and Photo/Video Release, they will not be permitted to join the reservation or participate in the trip. It is the booking party’s responsibility to bring this requirement to the attention of any proposed new participant and to provide them with the links we have provided you to complete these documents. Please notify us at your earliest opportunity of any proposed changes so we can confirm whether the documents have been completed.
- Large Group Bookings – REO reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept a deposit to secure a group booking without requiring all participants to complete their Waiver and Photo/Video Release prior to the payment of the deposit, it being recognized that all participants may not be known or confirmed at the time the deposit is required. You agree this does not in any way change or waiver the requirement set out above that all participants must complete REO’s Waiver and Photo/Video Release as a condition of participating in the reservation regardless of when they are added to the reservation. It is the responsibility of the individual making such a reservation to only allow individuals who agree with these Terms of Service, including this Waiver requirement, to participate in the booking and to bring this to the attention of such individuals. By making such a booking, you agree that any individual who does not complete their Waiver and Photo/Video Release will not be permitted to participate in your booking.
Reservations & Deposits
- All promotional sale rates require a reservation requested by the dates specified.- After all parties in the reservation have signed the waiver, a nonrefundable 15% deposit will be automatically collected to complete your reservation.
- If your arrival date is less than 15 days away after all parties in the reservation have signed the waiver, the full balance will be automatically collected to complete your reservation.
- Once a payment is made, you are agreeing to all terms, conditions, & policies.
Paying Your Balance
The balance of your reservation is due 15 days before your reservation arrival date and will be automatically collected from the credit card on file after the waivers and photo release have been completed by all guests.If you would like to use a different credit card to pay the balance, please follow the steps in the reminder email that is sent 17 days before your reservation arrival date. This will give you 7 days to complete the payment with your new card.

Date Changes & Transfers
- Your payments can be converted to a non-refundable booking credit, valid for 24 months from the original trip date. This credit is issued as part of our cancellation policy for the services we provide. You may transfer this credit to another person if you prefer.
- Date changes in the same calendar year are permitted (no fees) subject to availability.
- Note that the Waiver is valid for a period of 18 months from the date it is signed and will apply to any trip within that period, regardless of any date changes, and it is not applicable to any particular trip or booking reference number.
Cancellation Policies
Your deposit is non-refundable. However, depending on when you cancel, the value of your deposit may be transferred to a credit voucher valid for three years.- Cancel 15 or more days before your trip: Receive a 100% credit voucher for the value of your deposit. No refunds.
- Cancel fewer than 15 days before your trip: No credit voucher. No refunds.
- Medical emergencies: Please contact us with details, as exceptions may be considered at REO's discretion.
- Gift certificates are final sale and non-refundable. If you are unable to use your gift certificate, you may transfer it to another participant.
→ Deposits made before September 15, 2023: Credit vouchers are no longer valid. Deposits are non-refundable.
→ Deposits made after September 15, 2023: Credit vouchers are valid until August 1st, 2026
→ Deposits made after September 15, 2024: Credit vouchers are valid until August 1st, 2027
→ Deposits made after October 1, 2025: Credit vouchers are valid until August 1st, 2028
In the event of cancellation of a reservation in whole or in part for any reason, REO will not be responsible to any REO guest for any travel, interruption or additional costs or lost opportunities, including without limitation, cancellation fees, airfare, thirdparty accommodations, meals, rental charges, services charges, lost deposits or payments, or for any direct, indirect, consequential, liquidated, compensatory, or incidental damages or any other damages or amounts of any nature whatsoever.
This cancellation policy applies to any reservation cancelled by the guest(s), as well as to situations where REO is required to cancel a reservation due to circumstances beyond REO's reasonable control, including but not limited to wildfires, floods, road closures, government orders, power outages, or other events that prevent REO from providing the booked experience.
In any circumstance where REO issues a refund, nonrefundable payment processing fees, merchant fees, and reasonable administrative costs associated with the original transaction and the refund may be deducted from the amount refunded.
Check-in & Late Arrivals
The checkin times for rafting day trips are 9:00am and 1:00pm.The checkin times for 1night stays are 1:00pm or 4:00pm.
The checkin time for overnight stays of 2 nights or more is 4:00pm.
The checkin time for REO Yoga Retreats is 3:30pm.

Our Guest Services Centre closes at 7:00 pm on Friday/Saturday and 6:30 pm on all other days of the week. Guests arriving after closing may be subject to a late arrival fee of $25 per person. If you expect to arrive after closing, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate our front desk schedule and help you avoid any possible late charges.
Trip Minimums
There is a minimum number of guests who are needed to run any of our trips/activities. In the unlikely event that you book on a date where the minimum number of attendees is not met, you may be asked to change your date, choose another activity, or receive a 100% credit voucher for any payments made.Travel By Vehicle, Other Forms of Land Transportation or Aircraft
REO has no control over transportation carriers or road maintenance and cannot guarantee travel schedules, which may be altered or affected by various circumstances. REO will not be liable, and will not provide a refund, for any change of travel schedule due to weather conditions or for any delayed or missed trip due to cancelled or delayed travel, including for any additional fees which may be incurred by any REO guest or for any special, incidental or consequential damages or losses arising from any of the foregoing.Trip Requirements
In order to guide/provide activities/services, there are requirements in place that are followed by REO employees, and that must be followed by all participants in activities and/or services provided by REO Rafting LTD.These requirements include but are not limited to:
- Suitable environmental conditions (river water levels, obstructing hazards, road conditions, etc.)
- Personal weight does not exceed the capacity of our gear
- Good fitness and physical capabilities
- Ability to listen and follow directions
- Wellbeing and safety of our guides/employees can be upheld
Drugs and Alcohol
Participating in activities organized by REO while under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited. You acknowledge and agree that whenever participating in an activity organized by REO, you and the members of your party will not be impaired by or use any substance, including, but not limited to, alcohol, cannabis, illegal drugs and other controlled substances. We reserve the right to deny participation to anyone who appears to be in contravention of this policy without refund or compensation.Respectful Behaviour
We are committed to providing a welcoming, safe and respectful environment for all guests and staff. Any form of violence or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of services and expulsion from the premises/trip without refund or compensation at the guest’s expense.Gift Certificates
REO Gift Certificates are not intended for resale purposes and have no cash value. Redemption of the Gift Certificate is subject to REO’s standard Terms of Service, including the requirement that all guests must complete our Waiver and Photo Release to participate. If a Waiver and Photo Release are not completed, participation will not be permitted.Gratuities
At REO Rafting & Yoga Resort, our team genuinely cares about making every guest feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported during their stay. We love creating memorable experiences and are grateful when our efforts are recognized through gratuities, which can be given directly to staff.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
The trip booking and all disputes relating to or arising out of the booking and these Terms, and any injury, loss or damage suffered by a guest while participating in a booking, are governed by and will be interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and no other jurisdiction and any litigation shall be brought solely within British Columbia and shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of British Columbia.By making a reservation, you hereby agree you have had the opportunity to review these Terms of Service as well as the Waiver and Photo/Video Release. You further agree it is your responsibility to bring these Terms of Service, including the Waiver and Photo/Video Release, to the attention of all adult guests who wish to participate in this reservation.
